Francesca Diano architect is a design practice based in Italy and the UK.
We are surrounded by architecture and we are an active part of a space:every project is about imagining the optimal arrangement in a space of possibilities and situations. However, design is more than just functional response: everybody deserves beauty, not in the sense of luxury, but as a balance between light, shadow, emotion and time. Every intervention, no matter how small, can change the quality of our life.
Our design process
first meeting
we get to know each other: the client tells us about his expectations and aspirations; we illustrate what we do and how we work
follow up meetings and design consultation
every decision is made with the client and the design of the project changes accordingly
after the client input, we define together goals, needs, and the best strategy
briefing
building approval
we develop and submit any necessary supporting
documentation to obtain the planning approval
we develop the design of the project, respecting the brief and local regulations
design
construction
we mange the entire construction process, dealing with consultants and contractors
