Stand for Yatching Festival

The exhibition stand was designed for CMC marine, one of the leading companies in the yacht’s stabilization field, to display their innovative products at both Cannes Yachting Festival 2017 and Montecarlo Yachting Festival 2017.

The client had mainly two needs: firstly, they required a comfortable and cozy area to meet the clients, with different zones such as a reception, a meeting spot, a seating corner; on the other hand, they asked for a fitting which could be used in several Festivals.

The challenge was clear: designing a modular and smart structure, easily to put together and dismantles, using durable materials, but, at the same time, elegant and innovative.

The walls are upholstered with fire-resistant and acoustic fabric, in order to create a welcoming and a cocoon-like environment; white net curtains from Kvadrat define the corner for meetings, which is divided from the seating area by a bespoke cabinet containing shelves and a coffee corner.

As for the other areas, both the reception and the display corners are marked by custom made furniture, designed specifically for the fair, evoking movement and geometries of the yachts themselves.
